Enyeama is free to return to the Eagles – NFF

Enyeama

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has said that former Super Eagles captain and goal keeper, Vincent Enyeama is welcome to the National team as NFF has never had any problem with him.

NFF Spokesman, Ademola Olajire, made this known when he spoke to some reporters.

“NFF has never had any problem with Enyeama and I don’t understand why he made such statement that the NFF is the only reason he can’t return to the Eagles.”

“The only issue I can recall that led to his retirement from the team, was when he had problems with former coach Sunday Oliseh.”

“Enyeama or any player that Rohr needs to make the Eagles fly is welcomed to the national team.” He said

Recently, the technical adviser of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, had revealed why Enyeama rejected appeals to return to the team.

Rohr had said it was because of issues with the NFF.

Recall that Enyeama had left the Super Eagles after he had issues with former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh.
