The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has called off the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting expected to hold today, August 23rd, 2017.
This was announced by the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina.
The meeting was supposed to be President Buhari’s first since he returned from his 103 days medical vacation in the UK.
According to Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari, will instead of the FEC meeting, receive the Report of the investigation committee into the allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ayo Oke at 12 noon, in his office.
“The committee is headed by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo” Femi added.
