The Government of the State of Osun, formerly known as Osun State, has donated customized ‘Opon Imo’ (Tablets of Knowledge) to some rescued Chibok School girls towards their rehabilitation.
The Government of the State of Osun, in 2013, had provided 150,000 e-learning tablets for Senior Secondary Schools.
According to them, the tablet covers 17 Core Subjects with over 5 Extra Curricula Subjects for Senior Secondary 1, 2 & 3 levels.
The Tablet also contains over 56 textbooks , 900 minutes of virtual classroom lessons and lots of Practice Questions for WAEC and JAMB.
In the past 4 years, this has been ongoing. Even school children from poor backgrounds and in rural environment have access to the Opo Imo.
