James Ibori opens new Twitter account. See his first three tweets.

 

Former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori who was jailed for 13 years in 2012 for money laundering offences was released from a UK prison on the 22nd of December 2016. He came back to Nigeria on Saturday, 4th February 2017 after being deported to Nigeria on the completion of his jail term in the UK prison. and the people in


his hometown, Oghara in Ethiope West local Government Area of Delta state celebrated his return.
Hundreds of people had marched round the town carrying leaves while some painted their faces with chalk. Musical bands were not left out.

As part of starting afresh, James Ibori opened a new twitter account. His first three tweets were that of appreciation for everyone who welcomed him back home. See tweets below:
