The Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has ordered all stakeholders in the state to increase efforts towards the on-going voters’ registration exercise in the state.
The efforts should be geared towards the mobilization sensitization and of eligible voters, to get registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in order for them to obtain their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs).
He said this during the expanded meeting of the Enugu East Senatorial District of the Peoples Democratic Party which was held at its Enugu zonal headquarters.
The governor stressed the importance of the door to door voters’ campaign which all the stakeholders should actively participate in. He also urged eligible voters to get their permanent voters’ card in order for them to be able to participate in the forthcoming general elections.
Ugwuanyi also advised the party stakeholders to always stand for peace and reconciliation in order for the party to wax stronger in Enugu state.
